Lixin Acupuncture Clinics

Acupuncture is a component of traditional Chinese medicine that originated in China over 5,000 years ago. The intent of acupuncture therapy is to promote health and alleviate pain and suffering. The method by which this is accomplished, though it may seem strange and mysterious to many, has been time tested over thousands of years and continues to be validated today. Acupuncture treats regular health problems and chronic conditions, for which drug therapy and surgery have not been effective. These conditions include yet are not limited to:

Neurological Issues: * Stroke * Bell's Palsy * MS * Numbness * Peripheral Neuropathy * Dizziness * Migraine * Tinnitus

Formerly the chief doctor of the Acupuncture Department at Bejing's acclaimed Red Cross Hospital, Dr. Zhang has treated thousands of people with traditional Chinese therapies. Through the 1990's a number of Dr. Zhang's medical research studies were published and in 1993 he was appointed national consultant to the Chinese Family Doctors Association. Distinguished in his field, Dr. Zhang has been featured in both the Chinese national press and television. He specializes in treating neuropathological conditions. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulates acupuncture needles for use by Dr. Zhang and other licensed practitioners.
