We specialize in diagnosing and treating traumatic brain injuries. We utilize functional neurological testing that helps us determine neurological deficits at the pathological and sub pathological levels. Any abnormal neurological findings that are not equal from side to side is often a sign of hemisphericity (one side is not functioning the same as the other - often causing symptoms that don't clear up by conventional means). Specific exercises are designed for each patient to help regain their lost function. We also utilize brain mapping (QEEG) technology here that is able to show definitive results of a traumatic brain injury. A mTBI definitive database is also run to determine the likelihood of having a mTBI. We are able to determine asymmetry, coherence and how well each area of the brain is communicating with each other. After determining this, we can utilize neurofeedback and acupuncture to help restore communication and lost function.
