Join BIAC for weekly meditation lead by a fellow survivor. This individual regularly volunteers, teaches and attends classes at least 3 times a week at the meditation center in Boulder, CO. While it is unclear how meditation as a whole affects TBI symptoms, there is other research showing that meditation has a positive impact on TBI-like symptoms: Meditation can positively impact one’s ability to sustain focused attention and cognitive efficiency. This meditation approach involves bringing your mind, body and breath together in the present moment. We’ll use a variety of meditation practices in these classes.
