BIAC invites you to participate in our weekly meditation session. No experience needed. Each session caters to both beginners and seasoned mediators. This is an opportunity for essential self-care. Relax as instructor, with 25 years of meditation experience and 3 years of teaching experience, guides you through a 20–30-minute secular practice. Each class is tailored to offer a unique experience incorporating breath work, body relaxation/awareness, and guided meditation.

Daily meditation offers numerous benefits for brain injury survivors, including reduced stress, pain, and anxiety, improved cognitive function, emotional regulation, mood, focus, attention, mental flexibility, and enhanced self-awareness. It promotes neuroplasticity, helping the brain form new neural pathways.

These sessions are inclusive and welcoming to all.
