Since 1987 I have used the Chinese medical model and therapeutic methods to understand and treat patients' patterns of disease. Based upon a person's health history and the information gathered through the traditional methods of Chinese medical diagnosis, I create a diagram for the person so that they can see a visual map of their life health pattern. With this diagram as a base I then recommend various therapeutic methods to help shift the person's pattern from one of disease to one of increased health and well-being.

FWI are experienced Colorado trial lawyers who have worked on Colorado personal injury and workers’ compensation cases involving brain injuries for many years. FWI are physically active individuals who have experienced a variety of injuries themselves; FWI knows what it’s like to crave the outdoors and can empathize with their clients when injuries prevent enjoyment of the Colorado lifestyle.
FWI has worked for large, well-known firms in Colorado. FWI gained an array of fast-paced, large caseload experience and figured out how to utilize that experience in a different model. FWI is a personable, hands-on practice that is all about providing top-notch customer service. FWI’s philosophy involves more frequent communication with clients, medical providers, and all parties involved in each case. FWI has more attorneys than legal assistants so the attorneys are required to spend more time on cases and handle the majority of the work. Based on this model, FWI attorneys are highly experienced and successful at telling their clients’ stories to the insurance companies because they truly know their clients and understand their clients’ injuries and damages. At FWI, they are not only your advocates, but your advisors and counselors as well. As such, you can expect a lot of direct contact with your attorney and will not have to go through a wall of receptionists and paralegals first. FWI respects your time and will work to resolve your case quickly and cleanly, while staying in constant contact with you. At FWI, the same attorneys will represent you through the entire process, as they have experience working on these cases from the date of the injury all the way through trial and appeals. You will not be handed off to another attorney at various stages of your case. If you hire Brianne Falgien, Jerrod Warr, and Vinny Iyer from FWI, you can expect that Brianne, Jerrod, and Vinny themselves will work on your case and see it all the way through. You will not be handed off to a legal assistant, paralegal, or other attorneys to do the majority of work on your case. FWI are self-proclaimed legal nerds who will stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the law and will pursue your case to its logical conclusion; if that means going to trial, FWI has trial experience and won’t shy away. However, if FWI can reach a positive resolution without a courtroom, they will. Keep in mind that most of these cases can resolve without filing a lawsuit or going to court.

Fight or Flight Therapy is a light therapy that resets people's nervous systems to a calmer place. Many of the symptoms associated withTBI have less to do with the trauma itself, and more to do with the person's nervous system getting stuck in the fight-or-flight response. Using very specific frequencies of light we can calm the fight-or-flight response. It 's amazing to watch a wide-variety of symtoms reduce or simply disappear. Learn more and read case histories at FightorFlightTherapy.com.

Driving is an essential skill for independence in today's society. Returning to drive following injury or problems resulting from disease or surgery, often requires the specialized assistance from Certified driving rehabilitation professionals who are trained to evaluate and rehabilitate these particular needs.
We offer a three-component evaluation, which consists of the following:
1) Occupational Therapy evaluation of pre-driving skills which includes strength, sensation, range of motion, coordination, muscle tone, proprioceptive and kinesthetic movements, visual perceptual skills, vision screening, reaction time and reflexes. We help individuals who may need adaptive equipment (hand controls, left accelerator, steering devices, mirrors, secondary controls).
2) A neurocognitive screening to assess attention and concentration, speed of processing, functional memory, sequential thinking and problem solving. If results from the clinical testing indicate the candidate has potential for driving, then Step 3 is initiated.
3) A behind-the-wheel evaluation with a Certified driving rehabilitation specialist (CDRS) in a vehicle with instructor safety brake/gas.
The full evaluations take approximately 3 hours and can be done in individualized segments if needed. This information is compiled and used to develop a written plan, which may include recommendations for:
- Driver training
- Driving with restrictions
- No return to driving
Information and recommendations will be provided to the referring physician for final decision making about driving.

Dr. Shelese Pratt N.D. has a family practice and specializes in classical homeopathy, nutrition (diet and nutritional supplements), botanicals, and hydrotherapy. She also cares for patients with TBI, learning difficulties (ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia), sensory processing disorders, autistic spectrum disorders, and mood disorders. In addition to classical naturopathic medical protocols, Dr. Pratt also employs Crossinology’s Brain Integration Technique (BIT) in her practice. She believes that each individual is unique and tailors a treatment plan specific to each patient. Dr. Pratt treats the majority of her patients (national and international), at her main clinic in Niwot, Colorado and also maintains an office in Stamford, Connecticut.
Dr. Pratt believes in integrative medicine. Although she has many modalities she prefers to use a team approach when possible between medical doctors, occupational therapists, cognitive therapists, speech therapists, psychotherapists, acupuncturists, and other health care practitioners.
Many people see Dr. Pratt for her revolutionary work with Brain Integration and brain specific nutrition. BIT is a proven alternative treatment for learning difficulties, and replaces standard treatments often involving: intense ongoing exercises, techniques for removing emotional stress, changes to the student’s learning style, and even prescription medication. Instead, BIT opens and integrates neurological pathways giving individuals permanent access to their full potential.

I have had extensive experience helping people with brain injuries, and it is my belief that acupuncture and Chinese herbs excel at restoring blood flow to the brain, allowing the bodies' natural healing agents to reduce inflammation and repair damaged tissues. Many of the symptoms that accompany brain injuries, including insomnia, lack of concentration, inability to focus, anxiety and depression, headaches, and anger can be addressed by restoring full flow of blood and "qi" to the brain. Every patient receives a thorough assessment and a treatment plan that emphasizes the needs of the whole person, the entire body, as well as a special focus on regaining full brain health.

The body uses secondary conditions (symptoms) as warning indicators of a potentially more serious condition. A NeuroStructural shift is just such a condition that may be the cause of your symptoms. Our office focuses on detecting and correcting these shifts so that the body can heal on its own and you can be free from these seconday conditions. When addressing these shifts in brain injured patients, we use state of the art instrumentation to identify the underlying structural abnormality in your spine that may be contributing to your specific neurological overload. By reducing some of this stress, you are better able to heal.
