Ariel Ambar is a certified yoga teacher and wellness advocate based in Littleton, Colorado, specializing in accessible and adaptive yoga for people of all abilities. Diagnosed with hydrocephalus, Ariel brings personal understanding and compassion to her classes, believing that yoga should be available and welcoming to everyone, regardless of mobility, medical history, or life circumstances. With nearly a decade of experience supporting the IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) community, Ariel’s approach emphasizes mindful movement, gentle breathwork, and inclusive practice designed to meet each person where they are.
Her teaching focuses on creating a safe and encouraging space where members can connect, build resilience, and experience the physical and emotional benefits of yoga together. Ariel’s lived experience with hydrocephalus allows her to offer modifications, insights, and support that prioritize comfort and promote self-empowerment. She is honored to share yoga as a tool for healing, connection, and self-care with the Brain Injury Association community.
