Did you know that by donating to BIAC, Colorado residents can qualify for the Homelessness Contribution Income Tax Credit (HCTC)? If you contribute $100 or more in a calendar year, you may receive a 25% tax credit on your state taxes, based on your donation to BIAC. This is a fantastic way to support our work and benefit from tax savings at the same time!

Other ways to give

We are grateful for every donation, and we offer a variety of ways for you to support BIAC:

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)

If you’re age 70½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your Traditional or Roth IRA directly to BIAC—up to $100,000 annually—without incurring federal income tax consequences.

Donor Advised Funds (DAF)

Support BIAC directly through your Donor Advised Fund (DAF). BIAC is registered with Schwab Charitable and Fidelity Charitable. If you use a DAF with another provider, we are happy to work with you to facilitate the donation.

Please note: Donations made through DAFs are not eligible for the HCTC.

Stock Donations

Donating highly appreciated stocks is a great way to support BIAC while potentially avoiding capital gains taxes. By donating stock, you can still enjoy a charitable deduction and help fund our mission.
