This past Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 The Rights of People with Cognitive Disabilities to Technology and Information Access was formally unveiled at the Thirteenth Annual Coleman Institute National Conference on Cognitive Disability and Technology in Broomfield, CO. This was an exciting moment for anyone who is touched by the world of cognitive disability, including all those who work with Brain Injury across the country. The declaration at it’s core is simple, yet powerful: That we hereby affirm our commitment to equal rights of people with cognitive disabilities to technology and information access and we call for implementation of these rights with deliberate speed.
