Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado

Education Request Form

The following form is for any entity requesting education or training about brain injury. The Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado (BIAC) will coordinate the requested education depending on the population of interest and entity-specific needs.

Examples of this may include:

  • Brain Injury 101: An overview of brain injury, common signs & symptoms, effective accommodation strategies, and resources.
    Target audience: community professionals and direct providers in areas such as human services, healthcare, criminal justice, mental health, housing, employment, substance abuse, etc.
  • Brain Injury Within the Classroom: Understanding the implications of brain injury in a school setting and consultation for developing and sustaining a brain injury team within a school.
    Target audience: teachers, school administrators, and classroom staff.
  • Brain Injury and the Legal System: Covering the prevalence and risk of survivors of brain injury involved in the legal system, while emphasizing screening tools, accommodation strategies, and community support.
    Target audience: law enforcement, judicial staff, court professionals, correctional personnel, and re-entry agencies.
