Peter Szymanski and Karen Voss started what is currently known as LoHi Physical Therapy in 2005. Our original company name, Catalyst Therapies, LLC, is still used today as our primary business name that many of you may recognize.
When we began our journey, we had each worked for years in large, busy therapy clinics. We wanted to create a more personal setting for our clients. We feel we have done that and are able to give them more individual attention and time.

Unlike medication, which only masks symptoms, CBTI works by addressing and targeting the underlying issues affecting your sleep. This allows you to fix sleep concerns long term.

The Vet Center provides free "readjustment counseling" services to active-duty service members and veterans of the U.S. military who have served in support of combat operations. Counseling is also provided to survivors of Military Sexual Trauma. Counseling services include individual counseling, couples and family counseling, and group counseling. The Vet Center is also a referral agency for numerous community resources.
The Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center (CTRC), a nonprofit located in Longmont, Colorado, was founded in 1980 and is the oldest and one of the largest therapeutic riding centers in Colorado, and one of the oldest and largest in the country. We are a Premier Accredited Center under PATH International. Our mission is to promote the physical, psychological and social well being of people with special needs through the interaction of a therapeutic team consisting of a horse, instructor and volunteers.
Currently CTRC serves participants through three program areas: Therapeutic Riding, Hippotherapy and the Mini Troopers. Weekly, we serve between 100-150 children and adults with a wide range of physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities. Including many children and adults with brain injuries. Each week CTRC utilizes the services of an average of 250 trained volunteers and 20 well trained horses.
Therapeutic Riding is the core of our programs at CTRC. Certified instructors, with trained volunteers, assist riders to learn riding and horsemanship skills while working on therapeutic goals. As participants in Therapeutic Riding, riders gain a sense of freedom and independence, experience accomplishments, interact socially, and learn new skills in a pleasurable environment.
Hippotherapy comes from the Greek word "hippos" meaning horse and translated means "treatment with the horse”. Clients in hippotherapy work one on one with a licensed, credentialed therapist utilizing the movement of the horse to achieve functional outcomes.
Mini Troopers utilizes a miniature horse and handler partnership to facilitate the well-being of populations with special needs who are unable to come to CTRC due to a myriad of reasons. The goal of “Mini Troopers” is to bring the animal assisted activities (AAA) to the individual(s).
Even though CTRC does not file Medicaid we do accept Medicaid if an outside source is filing. We also try and keep our cost for Therapeutic Riding and Hippotherapy as low as possible.

Community Connections, Inc. offers unique and community-based services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Community Connections, Inc. offers services and supports in the family home, residences of adults, vocational/work settings and the community. Nestled in the southwestern region of Colorado, we cover a service area of over 6,584 square miles of mountainous and desert terrain. The counties we serve include La Plata, Montezuma, Archuleta, Dolores and San Juan .
Community Reach Center is a top-tier mental health provider serving the north metro Denver area, as well as the designated provider for anyone eligible for Medicaid who resides in Adams County, Colorado. Since our incorporation 1957, Community Reach Center has provided life-changing services to hundreds of thousands of children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Regional Concussion Center
Developing a specialized Concussion Center for the region was a natural fit for OCR, given the athletes and teams we serve. As the need emerged for comprehensive care to help athletes return to activities safely after a concussion, OCR developed the Regional Concussion Center. It is staffed by a wide range of specialized healthcare professionals.
Alissa Wicklund, PhD, our concussion specialist, plays the central role in evaluating and treating athletes with concussions. Dr. Wicklund is a board-certified neuropsychologist specializing in the assessment of cognitive and behavioral symptoms of a concussion. She also specializes in the use of the many computerized and clinical tools that assist in the diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Wicklund treats athletes with acute and lingering symptoms following a concussion, as well as those who have suffered multiple concussions during their lifetime.
CCC is a locally owned Class B Licensed Home Care agency. We are unique in that our primary focus is a holistic approach to care giving to increase the quality of life for families. Our unique wellness oriented approach offers a variety of home and personal assistance. We are the only Certified Matrix Repatterning Practitioners in the region. Matrix Repatterning is featured in the book "The Brain's Way of Healing" by Norman Doidge, MD. We have helped many head injured people with Matrix Repatterning. We also use Frequency Specific Microcurrent, Laser, PEMF, and clinical nutrition.

Consumer Directed Attendant Support Services (CDASS) lets individuals direct and manage the attendants who provide their personal care, homemaker and health maintenance services, rather than working through an agency. Through CDASS, individuals are empowered to hire, train and manage attendants of their choice to best fit their unique needs. CDASS is available in the following Home and Community Based (HCBS) waivers: Elderly, Blind and Disabled (EBD), Community Mental Health Supports (CMHS), Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and Brain Injury (BI).
CASA provides a combination of behavioral therapy and mental health therapy for children and adults. Staff has provided services for individuals who have experienced TBI. Services can be provided collaboratively or can be done individually, behavior therapy and/or mental health services.
Convergence Concepts provides Electronic Aids to Daily Living (EADL) / Environmental Control Unit (ECU) systems which help people with mobility limitations control the electrical (lights, lamps, fans, etc.) and electronic devices (TV's, DVD Players, thermostats, etc.) in their home and office. The systems can be operated by touch, voice, or switch scanning and are customized to meet the user's abilities and needs. The systems are PC-based so users get an accessible computer too.
Core Natural Wellness Center is focused on identifying & removing interference to health & well-being, & restoring health with drugless therapeutics. Dr Hinders practices Brain Based Wellness utilizing chiropractic, upper cervical specific chiropractic, acupuncture, whole food nutrition and nutritional therapeutics; NeuroInfiniti Stress Response Evaluation (which measures habituated brain patterns, & the ability of the nervous system to adapt to stress); bio & neurofeedback; and brain entrainment technology. The Neuropsychology Service at Denver Health Medical Center provides outpatient and inpatient adult and geriatric neuropsychological evaluations for patients starting at age 18. We evaluate patients with brain injuries and a full range of neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, and dementia). In addition to providing diagnostic evaluations we offer presurgical testing for candidates for surgical interventions for epilepsy and other neurological conditions. Richard F. Spiegle, Psy.D. is a forensic and clinical psychologist, licensed in the State of Colorado with over twenty-five years of experience. He received his Doctor of Psychology degree from the University of Denver in 1979. He is a Board-certified Diplomate in Forensic Psychology, and a longstanding member of both the American Psychological Association and the Colorado Psychological Association. He is a frequent speaker at professional meetings and continuing legal educational seminars on various topics related to psychological and forensic issues. Dr. Spiegle has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Argosy University, the University of Northern Colorado, The University of Colorado at Denver, and at Bowling Green State University, where he has taught courses in Forensic Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Special Education. He has served as a Clinical Affiliate at the University of Denver since 1990, where continues to provide clinical training and supervision for graduate students in the doctoral and master's programs.
Dr. Spiegle’s background, in addition to his forensic and clinical practice, includes many years of consultation in such settings as Head Start, Federal Corrections, and Child Protection Services and for agencies serving the developmentally disabled. He provided services as staff psychologist in a community mental health setting where he was the Coordinator of After-hours Emergency Services, Continuity of Care, and Hospital Services at the same agency. He completed mediation training at the nationally acclaimed Center for Dispute Resolution in Boulder, Colorado. Subsequent to that, he co-founded a professional mediation practice. Tom's specialty focus tool is Clinical Neuropsychology. The CU Aging Center (CUAC), which is a component of the Department of Psychology at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS), offers neuropsychological evaluations for adults residing in Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. Dr. Zamzow is a neuropsychologist at the CUAC who has specialized training in the cognitive assessment of adults with a past history of one or more traumatic brain injuries or concussions.

The University of Denver Counseling and Educational Services Clinic, located in the Morgridge College of Education, offers counseling, psychological assessments, consultations and educational services to the community on a sliding scale fee basis. We provide services to those who do not require hospitalization, medical care or emergency services.
The Clinic is a unique training and research facility for Counseling Psychology and Child, Family and School Psychology students. Counselors are doctoral, educational specialist and master’s students who are supervised by doctoral-level licensed psychologists.
Services include individual, couples, family and group counseling for all ages, psychological assessments for adults, and psychoeducational assessments and consultations for infants, children, adolescents and young adults (aged birth to 21 years old).

Dr. Jacocks is a Board Certified Clinical Neuropsychologist (ABPP-CN). She focuses on working with young adults, adults, and aging individuals with acquired and traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, specializing in a broad-based neurologic practice encompassing disorders of the central nervous system. This also includes neuropsychological assessment of diverse medical and neurologic populations including stroke, dementias, multiple sclerosis and other neurologic injuries and illnesses.
