Envision:You

Envision:You addresses the unique needs LGBTQ+ people have when considering and accessing behavioral healthcare. As members of an often misunderstood minority group, they frequently face discrimination, violence, and poor mental health outcomes. Although it requires great strength and courage, seeking support is one of the most important steps a person with a mental health and/or substance use disorder can take. Envision:You is here to support, educate, and empower LGBTQ+ people in taking that step. Brain injuries don't discriminate, and we are here to connect individuals to resources that provide cultural and identity affirming care.

Soaring Hope Recovery

Drug Addiction Recovery in Colorado
Intensive Residential Treatment Programs
Sober Living Facility
Holistic

We utilize a wide range of therapies to speak to each client’s head and heart. We help each client understand where their addiction has embedded itself and what it takes to prevent relapse. Therapy ranges from CBT to equine. DBT to experiential. Psychodrama and conflict resolution.

We believe that to build a defense against relapse one needs to prepare their head and heart.

Scientific
We know that addiction is a disease of the brain and therefore the professionals at Soaring Hope Recovery use the best science available - Low Energy Neurofeedback (LENS) combined with amino acid therapy to repair damage from trauma and PTSD which are for many, the underlying cause of addictive behaviors.

Our staff is now working with the veteran population in the Colorado Springs area - applying the therapies mentioned above and we are having great success in resolving PTSD so they can regain their lives.

Dr Miller, founder of the program believes that you need to teach a person suffering from trauma-induced addictive behaviors to count to 12 before s/he can successfully do the 12- Step program.

By focusing on the underlying issue where rage, depression, and addictive behaviors are embedded, we have a greater response and higher rates of success.

Our clients leave our program fully restored, filled with hope and eager to start living.

Start Your Recovery

StartYourRecovery.org provides helpful information for people who are dealing with substance use issues — and their family members, friends, and co-workers, too. We know that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to the challenges faced by those who misuse alcohol, prescription or illegal drugs, or other substances, and we aim to break through the clutter to help people at any stage of recovery. Our goal is to offer people who are dealing with substance use issues a single source of reputable, objective information about signs, symptoms, conditions, treatment options, and resources — presented in a user-friendly format and in language that’s easy to understand. First we asked: “Why doesn’t someone offer access to these resources in one place?” Then we asked: “Why don’t we?” To do it, we bring together leading clinicians and experts in substance use prevention treatment and recovery from nonprofit, academic, and government institutions. Reingold — a leader in creating outreach campaigns that promote mental health awareness and help-seeking — works with these experts to assemble, validate, and present the best information available for people dealing with substance use issues.

Vinland National Center

Treatment at Vinland is intended for people with disabilities who are chemically dependent. We serve adults ages 18 and older and offer assistance in arranging transportation to and from appointments at Vinland’s main campus. We meet the complex needs of adults with disabilities seeking treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, specializing in traumatic brain injuries and other cognitive issues. We also offer Neuropsych testing and most of our front-facing clinicians are CBIS Certified.

We treat co-occurring disorders and offer fully integrated mental health services. Clients participate in mental health groups and meet one-on-one with licensed mental health professionals. When appropriate, clients meet in-house with our psychologists and psychiatrists.

In addition, Vinland is known for its outstanding Therapeutic Exercise Program. A safe, slow, gentle, supervised physical reconditioning program, this is specifically offered at our residential program location. All clients receive a pre-assessment to determine their current functional capacity. After the assessment, an exercise physiologist designs a personal program to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, posture and body mechanics. Many of our clients have issues related to chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries and/or traumatic brain injuries, which makes personalized programming a necessity.

Our program is designed for:
• Those who can benefit from a slower-paced, more individually –focused program.
• People living with disabilities such as brain injury, developmental disability and/or physical disabilities. Other neurobehavioral disorders we serve include Asperger’s Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and Fetal Alcohol Effect.
• Individuals dealing with simultaneous mental illnesses.
• Those who have had difficulty succeeding in traditional substance use disorder treatment programs, or those who have relapsed and need a new approach.
• We accept CTF, PMAPS, most insurance plans and private pay.

Situated on a hill overlooking Lake Independence in western Hennepin County, MN., Vinland’s main campus encompasses 178 acres of restored prairie land, woods and shoreline. It is a rural setting conveniently located just 20 miles west of Minneapolis and 45 miles south of St. Cloud.
